Our new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses line was unveiled today at Meta Connect in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica. We completely rebuilt these, enhancing all of the first generation's key features and incorporating brand-new functions that have never been included in a set of smart glasses before. They cost $299 USD to buy. The smart glasses are already accepting pre-orders on meta.com and ray-ban.com, and they will be sold both online and in physical stores starting on October 17.

Millions of memories have been recorded and shared since we introduced our first-generation smart glasses, which were developed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica. With Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, you are liberated from the limitations of a hand-held camera for anything from concerts and birthday celebrations to first steps and graduations. Instead Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses allow you to take pictures or videos from your unique point of view, allowing you to not only relive the moment but also truly live in it. This is an alternative to keeping the world at arm's length or, worse, missing out on the action entirely as you struggle with your smartphone's lock screen.

We completely redesigned our next-generation glasses after receiving community feedback. We took the time to learn what people loved about the product, such as its effortlessly cool form factor, hands-free convenience, and open-ear audio, as well as the areas where we could make improvements, such as the comfort and general media quality. All of those original generation's fundamental features have been upgraded, and a few brand-new ones have also been introduced. a set of smart glasses with features that have never been seen before.

Audio quality has been increased thanks to our brand-new, specially built speakers, which have extended bass, a greater maximum volume, and improved directional audio that reduces audio leaking for better calls, music, and podcasts – even in noisy or windy conditions. Additionally, the newly created five-microphone array offers immersive audio recording when you're filming a video, allowing you to capture sounds exactly as you first heard them, whether they were coming from in front of you, to your sides, to your back, or even from above.       

   Share your perspective: With a new ultra-wide 12 MP camera, your images and 1080p movies up to 60 seconds will be of higher quality, so whether you're witnessing fantastic The proof of your escapades will be just as amazing as the actual thing, whether you're enjoying the scenery while hiking or living it up at an art display. With only a simple "send a photo" voice command, you may even directly share photos with friends and family from your glasses.         

    The brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, which enables higher quality photo and video processing and significantly faster compute, powers the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The charging case for the glasses has also been updated and is sleeker and even smaller. It can contain up to eight more charges for a total of 36 hours of use.
