Nothing Phone 2 Receives October Patch and Photos Widget in OS 2.0.4 Update

This week, users of the Nothing Phone 2 will start receiving updates to Nothing OS 2.0.4. Although there are a few new features, like a new Photos widget, the update primarily consists of bug fixes and general enhancements.

Among the enhancements are better processing for scenes with bright backdrops, enhanced speaker volume for particular scenarios, and zoom consistency between previewed and captured footage. The October fix was not included in the update either.

◆ Your favorite pictures can now be seen on your lock screen or home screen thanks to the new Photos widget.

◆ The widgets library interface has been updated to show Nothing widgets.within groups.

◆ The ability to conceal app icons in the app drawer has been added. To see the concealed app icons, just swipe right in the app drawer.

Fixes for bugs and enhancements

◆ Processing tweaks for scenes with strong backlighting have been made.

◆ A  better zoom match between footage that was collected and footage that was seen beforehand.
