We recently received a Redmi Note 13 5G from Xiaomi to evaluate, and it was just announced. Let's take a look inside the Redmi Note 13 5G's packaging before we begin our review.
The Redmi Note 13 5G Ocean Teal variant is available now and is packaged in a white retail box together with a charging cable, a 33W power adapter, a SIM ejector tool, and a protective case.
The Dimensity 6080 SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 5G, which comes pre-installed with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 6.67" FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, covered in Gorilla Glass 5, serves as the main component. The The 16MP selfie camera in the center of the display has a punch-hole as well, but the fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button, thus it is not located underneath.
When you turn the phone over, you'll notice a square-shaped camera island with three cameras—108 MP for the main, 8 MP for ultrawide, and 2 MP for depth—with an LED flash. Some users may not find the Redmi Note 13 5G's flat design and IP54 rating to be sufficiently ergonomic.
A 5,000 mAh battery powers the entire device and can take up to 33W of power via a USB-C connector. In addition, depending on the market, the smartphone has an IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and an NFC chip.
Stay tuned as we start our evaluation process to see how the Redmi Note 13 5G operations were made.
