LLC 2023: scoring 84 runs in just 16 balls

 LLC 2023: Gautam Gambhir's 44-year-old batsman made history by scoring 84 runs in just 16 balls!

 LLC 2023: Legends League cricket has peaked in terms of enthusiasm.  With a brilliant century from Ricardo Powell, the India Capitals side defeated Sardan Superstars by 7 wickets in the seventh game of the tournament.

 Dehradun: The India Capitals overcame the Southern Superstars by 7 wickets thanks to an amazing century from Ricardo Powell.  The Southern Superstars side lost the toss and elected to bat first. In the allotted 20 overs, they amassed 163 runs at the expense of six wickets.  In response, the India Capitals won the game with just 3 wickets lost in 16.4 overs thanks to Ricardo's century.

 India Capitals, who began pursuing the goal of 164 runs, lacked a noteworthy beginning.  After just 21 runs, the squad lost its first wicket.  Following this, the second wicket fell for the same amount of runs.  Despite the immediate difficulties faced by India Capitals, Ricardo, 44, remained unwavering.

 Ricardo batted carefully for a while after losing two wickets in a row, but he soon changed tactics and began smashing fast strokes.  Chris Edwards provided him with some support during this period with a solid inning of 45 runs without a hit.  Edwards faced 35 balls in this innings, hitting five fours and one six.  Gautam Gambhir, the captain of the team, was only able to score three runs whilst batting.

 Ricardo, however, was dismissed after reaching 100 runs.  Ricardo encountered 57 balls in this inning, hitting six fours and ten sixes.  He made his team's victory simple by scoring 84 runs only from the boundary in this manner.

 De Silva transformed Southern

 The Southern Superstar was the first to bat, and his batting was mediocre at best.  Regular wicket losses prevented the squad from forming any meaningful partnerships.  But Chaturanga de Silva undoubtedly scored a half-century to help the squad to a respectable total in the interim.  De Silva hit five sixes and two fours his route to scoring 56 runs in 34 balls.
