The primary camera sensor of the Honor Magic 6 is revealed by a leaker.
Word leaked out a few days ago that the 1 inch OV50K sensor from OmniVision will be the new camera sensor on the Honor Magic 6. Although this new sensor's specifications are still unknown, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed some information about it.
The leaker claims that the 1-inch OmniVision OV50K sensor has a novel feature dubbed LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor), which will address overexposure in bright environments, a common problem in smartphone photography.
The camera sensor detects light when you press the shutter, and this light is then transformed into electrical impulses. After thereafter, these signals are merged to create the final visual.
However, excessive light might overwhelm the sensor in bright settings, resulting in overexposure and a loss of clarity. By efficiently controlling the extra light, LOFIC will solve this problem and guarantee that images maintain their integrity even in extremely bright environments.
The OV50K will also be able to compete with Sony's 1-inch IMX989 sensor, according to DCS.
Additionally anticipated to include satellite connection and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the Honor Magic 6. In the upcoming days, further information regarding the Honor Magic 6 series is anticipated to surface.
