The Redmi Note 13 series made its debut by Xiaomi at the end of September in China. The first week of January saw the smartphones begin to appear in a number of foreign countries.
The company has been preparing to launch a special edition of the pro model for about four months now. This updated version honors the Lunar New Year.
Live photos of the aforementioned phone have surfaced ahead of its official announcement.
Available in Red, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Limited Edition
According to images circulating on Weibo, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 2024 New Year Edition is the official name of the next special edition smartphone from Xiaomi's sub-brand.
This particular device version arrives with black accents and a vibrant red color. The camera module and the frame are black, with a red back panel.
The retail box of the product is designed differently from the standard box. We do not yet know if the contents of the in-box are themed or not.
However, it's not impossible that the smartphone will include a Chinese New Year theme, wallpapers, ringtones, and other personalizations.
Redmi hasn't yet made an official announcement about this product's release.
Redmi Note 13 Pro Reference Details
The 6.67-inch center punch-hole OLED display of the Redmi Note 13 Pro is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display provides a resolution of 1.5K, or 2712 x 1220 pixels. A 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate are used. The screen is compatible with Dolby Vision, 1800 nits of peak brightness, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the phone. UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM are matched with the chipset. Software-wise, it boots MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.
The gadget has three cameras on its back: a 200MP primary sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It features a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
The phone has dual SIM, USB Type-C, GNSS, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6E, 5G, and NFC connectivity options. It also includes an IR blaster, two stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone connection, and an IP54 classification and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Not to mention, the smartphone supports 67W wired charging and has a 5,100mAh battery.
