Leaked retail packaging for Google Pixel 8a shows design and 27W fast charging
The Google Pixel 8a's design was initially made public in November 2023 through leaked photos. The device has now been sighted once more. This time, however, there was a leak of the Pixel 8a's retail box, which disclosed important information about the impending smartphone.

Via MySmartPrice, a private Vietnamese Facebook community, members shared pictures of the retail package. We can observe that the Pixel 8a's design is comparable to the leaked renders that we previously discussed by examining the official packaging. The smartphone has a dual camera arrangement on the back and rounded corners. It keeps the camera module that looks like a visor and houses an LED flashing module. The black edition of the Pixel 8a is visible.
In the front, however, is a punch hole selfie camera positioned in the center. The device's right side houses the power and volume rocker controls. Notably, the G6GPR model number for the Google Pixel 8a was also made public. The device will enable 27W wired fast charging, according to the retail packaging. The dimensions of the device, which are 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm, are also disclosed in this leak.
Recall that the flagship Pixel 9 series is expected to come after the upcoming mid-range Pixel 8a. It is thought to have a Tensor G3 chipset that has been underclocked. Within a GeekBench Consequently, the smartphone received 3175 points for the multi-core test and 1218 points for the single-core test.
