In the first quarter of this year, there are rumors that Vivo will host a significant launch event in China. A number of items are expected to be unveiled at the event, such as the Vivo X100s with its flat screen, the Vivo Pad 3 tablet with the Dimensity 9300 CPU, and the Vivo X Fold 3 series of folding phones. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared a Weibo post that may reveal something about what the Vivo X Fold 3 will say about the X Fold 3 Pro.

The leaker claims that the Vivo X Fold 3 will come with a chipset called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. By contrast, rumors suggest that the X Fold 3 Pro will be equipped with the more recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera is allegedly absent from the X Fold 3 engineering sample, according to the source. The X Fold 3 Pro is expected to include a triple camera setup, which includes an ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a periscope—possibly the OV64B periscope camera—as revealed by a previous leak from DCS.
The Vivo X Fold 3 will not have features like 50W wireless charging and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, according to DCS. It will cost less and be lighter than the Pro version. Prior to this, the leaker disclosed that the Pro's external display and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor will be embedded into the inner foldable screen. Its battery capacity is unclear, however it should enable 50W and 100W wireless and wired charging.
The internal LTPO panel of the Pro version will accommodate a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2K. The exterior and internal displays of the non-Pro model are yet unknown.
