The Realme 12 Pro series, the company's newest smartphone, was just released in India. The Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus, two new models to the range, are about to be unveiled.
Although we don't yet have all the information about these phones, we do now know the specifics regarding the impending Realme 12 Plus 5G courtesy to a new TENAA listing.
Realme 12 Plus certification from TENAA
With the model number RMX3866, which corresponds with the number found in MIIT and other certifications for the Realme 12 Plus, the phone received the go-ahead from TENAA.
The design of the 12 Plus is similar to that of its Pro siblings, as can be seen with a brief glance Featuring a centrally located, round camera island and a unique stripe running along the rear. The phone also features a teardrop notch display and flat frames.
With an AMOLED panel for brilliant colors, the screen has a generous 6.67-inch size and full HD+ quality (2400 x 1080 pixels).
For security, there's an in-display fingerprint scanner. We anticipate that the display will offer a refresh rate of either 90Hz or 120Hz, albeit the listing did not reveal this information.
An octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz powers the Realme 12 Plus 5G; however, the precise chipset specification is still unclear. There will be several RAM options available to users, including 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and an incredible 16GB.
Additionally varied are the storage options, which include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and configurations of up to 1TB are available. It is anticipated that the phone would run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens make up the Realme 12 Plus 5G's triple rear camera configuration. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is included for taking selfies. A 5,000mAh battery powers the lights; however, specifics on charging are not yet public.
The Realme 12 Plus 5G may go on sale in China later this month alongside the Realme 12 Pro series now that it has received its TENAA certification. Details on pricing and worldwide availability are still pending.
